China! Chengdu Pandas! Chongqing!

This is the panda post. Yes they're adorable, but attempt to refrain from squeeing too loudly. Your roommate/significant other will appreciate the effort.

Is this the picture with the battle panda? No, it's the one with the guy who got everyone to stop fighting because he waved a panda flag. That's boring, I'm gonna go find the armoured panda picture - Pullman aint got nothing on recorded history.

China! Lijiang and Tiger Leaping Gorge pics

Lijiang is one of the big attractions for Chinese domestic tourism. It's a stunning (reconstructed) stone town built along beautiful stone canals with drooping willows hanging over them. A few hours drive away is Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the world's deepest gorges, that I got to hike along with my new friend Mattan!
