Title Change!

So, the old title blog title and description were the result of 20 minutes ineffective brainstorming. I was never particularly happy with the result, and given that I never made it to Tibet, I figure a new title is in order.

The header image you can see is cropped from the name of a hostel in Lijiang, Hunan Province, China. The town was filled with these traditional little hostels with Chinglish names. This was the best of them though, just beating out "Solo Wanderings".

This title also extends the jurisdiction of the blog a little, meaning I can continue to use it, so long as I continue to travel, and do it alone (even metaphorically). The thousands of miles bit I've already covered.

China pics!

I continue with my series of pictures that should have been posted months ago, and in order, by offering you, humble reader, these images from my few days in China. Namely the laid-back, welcoming city of Kunming, my most excellent first port of call, and then the old town of Dali, where I had my first taste of the Chinese domestic tourism industry.

Nepal Pictures!

The last pictures I uploaded before the China fiasco were from my trek to Annapurna Base Camp. Here then are the Nepali pictures taken after that. They are mostly from Chitwan, Nepal's largest National Park, home of elephants, tigers, and rhinos...

It rained literally for days when I was in Sauraha. These canoes will soon be floating. As will the huts on the right...

Japan pictures!

And here, without further ado, Japan pictures! (More after the jump)
