Those two old men on either side are the ones who shout at you for trying to take pictures of the goddess.
The goddess lives with her family in a special palace in the centre of Kathmandu, and makes only momentary appearances at the centre of the three windows above. The current Kumari looks to be around 5 or 6 years old, and she acted like it, jumping to the window and swinging against the bars.
